Tonight Nate thought that the large, clean, ready to be folded, pile of laundry in our bedroom was the perfect place to hang out and snack on the bag of marshmallows that he snuck out of the pantry. Guess my piles are good for something!!!

Puddle Jumpers
We love the rain, and we LOVE to jump in puddles. Unfortunately rain and big rainstorms are very rare where we live... so when it rains, we start puddle jumping!!! This afternoon we had a HUGE rainstorm. Gracie had so much fun breaking in her new frog rain boots, and we were really excited that Gracie's treasured firetruck boots could now be handed down to Nate.

Princess Wishes
The Hot Chicks (and Nate) gathered today for a cupcake tea party reunion. I asked each of them to make a princess wish before blowing out their candle. Gracie wished for a horse (of course), Kyra wished that her Grammie could come back, and Ella reserved her wish for the next tea party. I love these little girls. My wish was that their friendship lasts forever.

Cool Dudes
Today was the very first Cool Dudes!!! Charlie, Josh and Nate had a blast. They dug for worms in the garden, played trucks in the dirt, threw sand in the sandbox, rode bikes, the rocking horse and the roller coaster, pulled each other in the wagon, and pushed each other in the car. I can already tell that they are going to be great buddies.

Happy New Year!!!
We kicked off 2008 with a great week! Here are a few of the highlights... Gracie started riding lessons. Both kids rode the new roller coaster that Santa brought them at least 1000 times (getting more daring with each ride, going backwards, sitting on each others laps, etc). Every night the kids have been asking for bubble baths, they've been cracking each other up by making bubble beards and shouting hohoho!!!
